Privacy Policy

InterventionNY.com is operated by Results First Digital LLC ("we", "us"). We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, coordinate intervention-related support, and communicate with you by phone, email, or text message when you have given consent. Families reach out to us at some of the hardest moments of their lives. We treat that trust seriously. This page explains exactly what we collect, what we do with it, and what we will never do.

Last updated: October 13, 2026

The short version

We collect the minimum information needed to respond to you. We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not run advertising pixels or retargeting campaigns. We do not add you to automated marketing sequences. If you want your information removed, email us and we will remove it.

One thing we do use is Google Analytics, which counts visits and shows us which pages families read. It sets a cookie and sends that activity to Google. It does not receive your name, email address or phone number, and you can opt out of it entirely. The two sections below explain both points in full.

What we collect

Depending on how you contact us, we may receive:

  • Family Intervention Packet request: your email address, and optionally a first name. Nothing else is required, and we never ask you to describe your loved one in order to receive the guide.
  • Callback or consultation request: the name and phone number you choose to provide.
  • Email or phone contact: whatever you choose to share with us directly.
  • Basic technical data: standard web server information such as browser type and approximate region, used only to keep the site working and secure.
  • Analytics data: pages viewed and similar activity, collected by Google Analytics as described in the next section.

We do not require medical history, diagnosis, insurance details, or information about the person you are concerned about in order to send you educational materials.

Letter builder

Your answers are sent to Lovable AI to arrange your own words into a letter. We do not save wizard answers or drafts in our database or write their contents to server logs. The draft stays in the open page and is cleared when you refresh or close it. We retain only an hourly generation count with a hashed network address to limit misuse. Avoid sensitive health details or identifying information beyond first names.

If you choose “Email me my letter” and check “Email me this letter. Intervention NY may follow up about my inquiry.”, we save your email address, optional first name, relationship, letter text and consent record as an inquiry. We send your copy through our existing Gmail sender and notify our team so we can follow up about your inquiry. Letter content is never sent to Google Analytics. You can request deletion by emailing help@interventionny.com.

Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4, a measurement service provided by Google. We use it for one reason: to see which pages families actually read, so we know what to write next and what to fix. We do not use it to build advertising audiences.

It only runs if you let it. A banner asks the first time you arrive, and until you answer, Analytics is blocked from storing anything or recognizing your browser. If you decline it stays blocked, and we stop sending it the pages you read. To be exact rather than flattering: Google's tag may still register an anonymous, cookieless signal that a visit happened, but with storage denied it cannot tie that to you, to this visit's other pages, or to any later visit. Your answer is remembered for six months in a single cookie, and the Cookie choices link in the footer of every page lets you change it whenever you want.

When you visit, Google Analytics records:

  • Which pages you open on this site, in what order, and how long you stay.
  • How you arrived — a search engine, a link on another site, or by typing the address directly.
  • Your general device information: browser, operating system, and whether you are on a phone or a computer.
  • An approximate location, usually city or region level, worked out from your IP address. Google Analytics 4 does not store the full IP address itself.
  • A randomly generated number stored in a cookie on your device, which lets Google recognize a returning browser across visits. It is not tied to your name.

It does not receive your name, email address or phone number, anything you type into the Family Intervention Packet form, or anything you tell us about the person you are concerned about. Those reach us by email and never pass through Analytics.

We want to be straight about the limits of that, because this is a sensitive subject. The page addresses sent to Google include the topic you were reading: a page about heroin, or about involuntary commitment. That is activity on a website rather than a statement about you or your family, and nothing on our side links it to your identity. But it is data held by a third party under Google's terms, not ours, and we cannot make promises on Google's behalf. If that is not a trade you want to make, opt out below. Nothing on this site stops working if you do.

We have not enabled Google's advertising, remarketing or demographic features, we do not pass Analytics data to advertisers, and we do not attempt to connect it to anyone who later calls or emails us.

How to opt out of Analytics

Any one of these stops it, and you do not need to tell us:

  • Decline the banner the first time you visit. Nothing is stored, and every part of this site keeps working.
  • Change your answer later with the "Cookie choices" link in the footer of any page.
  • Install Google's official opt-out browser add-on, linked below. It blocks Analytics on every site you visit, permanently.
  • Use most content or tracker blockers, which block Analytics by default.
  • Browse in a private or incognito window and then close it. The cookie is discarded with the session.
  • Block or clear cookies for this site in your browser settings.

The add-on is at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and Google describes what it collects on sites that use Analytics at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

One honest caveat about deletion: because Analytics never learns who you are, we have no way to find your visits among everyone else's and remove them individually. Opting out prevents collection from here on, which is the part we can actually offer you. Anything you have sent us directly, such as an email address or a phone number, we will delete on request, as described below.

How we use it

  • To send the Family Intervention Packet you requested.
  • To return your call or reply to your message.
  • To coordinate services if your family chooses to work with us.
  • To meet legal or safety obligations in the rare circumstances where law requires it.

What we never do

  • We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
  • We never share your information with treatment facilities or third parties without your explicit permission.
  • We do not run advertising retargeting pixels against people who visit this site.
  • We do not enroll you in automated marketing sequences. Downloading the guide does not trigger a sales follow-up campaign.
  • We do not contact your family member, employer, or anyone else without your direction.

Text messaging

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

If you check the optional text-consent box on one of our forms, we keep a record of that consent (the wording you agreed to, the time, the page and your IP address). Texts are sent through our phone and messaging provider, CallRail, only to deliver the messages you asked for about your inquiry. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out. Full details are in our SMS Terms.

Text Message Service

Intervention NY (operated by Results First Digital LLC) uses text messaging only to reply to people who contact us first and opt in. We text in response to your inquiry: to confirm we received your request, to schedule or reschedule a phone consultation, and to send follow-up information you asked for. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We respect your privacy. We use the information you provide to send and respond to your text messages. This includes sharing it with platform providers, phone companies, and other vendors who help us deliver messages (for example, our phone and messaging provider, CallRail). We will not share mobile information with third parties for marketing. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We may disclose information to satisfy legal, regulatory, or governmental requests, to avoid liability, or to protect our rights or property. This section applies to your use of the Text Message Service and does not modify the rest of this Privacy Policy.

Confidentiality

Conversations with our interventionists are treated as confidential. We understand that many families contacting us have real concerns about privacy, reputation, and employment. We do not discuss your situation outside our team without your permission.

Please note that Intervention NY is an intervention-support service, not a licensed medical provider, so our confidentiality practices are a professional commitment rather than HIPAA coverage. If you have questions about how that applies to your situation, ask us directly and we will give you a straight answer.

How long we keep information

We keep contact information only as long as it is useful for the purpose you gave it to us, or as long as required for legitimate business and legal records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Removing your information

Email help@interventionny.com with the address you used, and we will remove you from our records. No explanation required, and no retention attempt.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will change the date at the top of this page. Material changes to how we handle personal information will be described plainly rather than buried.
